Independent and Alone

Well I have survived my first week without pamela home to keep me company. I have usually had a problem being alone. I always surrond myself with people I hate to be alone. Pamela is out of town for this week next week and comes home for about 3 days and then leaves again for thanksgiving and comes back for 5 days and leaves for Iraq for 6 months! I have to say I am a little nervous. She is so trusting in me and believing in me though it really motivates me. Iam so use to the constant criticizing and people telling me everything I am doing wrong that this is such a difference. Anyway I had a girls night yesterday with my best friend Tiffany. It was great. We were lazy we watched movies ate junk food. I cooked rosemary chicken and cauliflower mac n cheese from my rachel ray cook book which turned out to be delicious! I didn't feel very well today. I was loosing my voice an I can't afford to miss work so i drank alot of tea and did some laundry and paper work. My throat is still a little scratchy but hopefully it won't turn in to anything. A lot of my clients have been sick and I have been trying not to catch anything from them. My cousin heather was in town for the weekend and I had planned to stop by and see them friday but Pamela called and needed a ride to the airport. So unfortunately I didn't get to see them :( I did get 42 hours in this week for work and I will have more next week. I am going to be working saturdays more often now so it should help a little bit.
Anyway I am super excited about the holidays coming up. I just feel super thankful this year and I can't begin to express it all. I love being so close to my family at this time and I am trying to plan a few short trips so that I can see other family members that aren't so close. Chris is currently traveling the west coast with a band. He is having a blast but hopefully be back in time for christmas i hope. I do miss him a lot. I get some pretty interesting calls from seattle and most recently portland. He says its fun but is a little afraid to invite the family because its a pretty "hard core show" in his words. Anyway things are good, work is hectic but good and the holidays are the best.
